CeraVe Intensive Stretch Marks Cream Review | Is it Good?

CeraVe Intensive Stretch Marks Cream

Are you prone to developing stretch marks? Think your baby-on-the-way is going to make the skin on your stomach look horrific?

If so, you’re probably considering using a stretch mark cream to either prevent or reverse the damage that this condition causes. One product that is on the rise lately for this is CeraVe Intensive Stretch Marks Cream.

Below we provide a full review of this product.

BREAKING NEWS: CeraVe appears to have abandoned this cream – we aren’t surprised given that the poor reviews were piling up (including our 2.5 star writeup below). For best results we recommend using either TriLASTIN-SR or Mederma stretch mark removal cream instead. These products are priced similarly yet provide much better and faster results.

About CeraVe Intensive Stretch Mark Cream

CeraVe Stretch Mark Cream

CeraVe is one of those names that has just seemingly popped up out of nowhere (sort of like Mustela) and gained popularity. This is largely due to Amazon, but it can be found in other big-name retailers as well.

But is CeraVe’s stretch mark cream really a must-have? Let’s discuss.

According to CeraVe’s own website, their Intensive Stretch Marks Cream has a unique formula that is designed to make current stretch marks disappear and also to prevent more from showing up.

It’s supposed to repair any damage to the outer skin layer and restore it with healthy cells to remove those nasty marks, tighten the skin again, and help new, healthy skin form.

Aside from that, and a short list of what they believe are the key ingredients in the product, CeraVe doesn’t tell you much about their cream at all.

That doesn’t necessarily mean it’s a terrible product but it’s just odd that the entire website features just a paragraph or two explaining the benefits, and not much else.

Want something that works better and faster? We highly recommend using TriLASTIN-SR to treat stretch marks. It’s fast, effective, and gentle on the skin.

CeraVe Stretch Mark Cream Reviews

We are firm believers in word-of-mouth referrals. If your product is well-designed and actually works, people will let other people know.

The same can be said if a product is awful and doesn’t do its job, too. You should always look into what real people that have actually used a cosmetic say before buying it yourself.

That being said, we were unable to find ANY real CeraVe’s stretch mark cream reviews ANYWHERE on the Internet! That’s extremely odd!

In fact, the only place that even really lists reviews for the product is Amazon. But here’s the curious thing. If you actually look at the reviews that are listed under the product description you’ll notice that 98% of them are for the eye repair cream offered by CeraVe, NOT the stretch mark cream.

There isn’t a single piece of feedback that was actually written for this cream. We’re not sure why it lists the other product’s reviews. That’s just weird.

For fast, reliable results that are backed up by clinical studies AND real consumer reviews, we suggest buying TriLASTIN stretch mark cream to fade away those pesky lines on your skin.

As with all other products we review on this website, we always highly recommend reading through the list of ingredients to make sure there’s nothing in a cream that would irritate your skin or cause an allergic reaction.

Here are the ingredients found in CeraVe’s Intensive Stretch Marks Cream:

The CeraVe website is a little vague on usage instructions with this product as well. It simply states to use it liberally as often as you feel the need to. That could mean once a day, or 3 times hourly, who knows?!? We’re not fond of brands that don’t even provide a precise usage guide. It makes it seem like the product has never been thoroughly tested.

Still think buying CeraVe might be worth a shot? Well, good luck to you. Here are a few places you can purchase it from:

Our Review

We actually bought this product ourselves to test. We found that it generally works well as a moisturizer, but not much else. And the cream itself is quite thick compared to other products. And, despite the website stating that it is non-greasy, it certainly felt a bit greasy.

Despite the fact that I like CeraVe products for other uses, this cream gets just 2.5 stars for its use against stretch marks. Take our Trilastin-SR suggestion and you’ll see the difference.
